ACNM Leadership Seminars,
with the support of the A.C.N.M. Foundation, Inc.

New! 2008 Leadership Seminars

Ft. Worth - April 12-13 (Registration is now open!)

ACNM and the A.C.N.M. Foundation are very excited to bring you two ACNM Leadership Seminars this year. Now in its fourth year, the Leadership Seminar provides concrete strategies for success that are focused on your role within ACNM yet can be applied to your practice or organization. Topics include learning about yourself and your team members and each participant will take the DISC Personality Style Assessment. Building on this knowledge, you will learn how to better communicate with and motivate members of your team. Learning how to recruit and lead a team of high performance volunteers or staff to maximize the success of your organization is key. Information about team roles, integrating new team members and how to plan and lead effective meetings is also included. You will learn about the importance of developing strategic partnerships to enhance the success of your organization.

On the second day of the ACNM Leadership Seminar, facilitators will guide you through the strategic planning process and you will leave the seminar with the beginning of an organization or practice strategic plan. Your ACNM Regional Representative or another ACNM Board of Directors member will host the meeting and provide the updates about ACNM activities. When possible, an ACNM staff member will also be there to give you additional insight about what ACNM is doing for you.

This exciting seminar is a $200 value but with the generous support of the A.C.N.M. Foundation, ACNM members can attend for only $35. Tuition for non-ACNM members is $200.
