Occasionally, ACNM receives requests for article submissions to health related publications.
- As normal birth advocates, we encounter unique, educational experiences on a daily basis. Why not share these experiences with others by submitting a manuscript to the Journal of Perinatal Education (JPE), the leading peer reviewed journal for childbirth educators? JPE seeks the following types of manuscripts: "practice ready," perinatal issues, obstetrical practice, clinical research articles, letters to the editor, and creative submissions. Visit the Lamaze web site for submission guidelines.
- Health Affairs Journal, published by Project Hope, is greatly interested in policy-oriented manuscripts related to nursing. Issues of interest include the shortage of nurses, their work environment, the sociologic, political and economic issues around nursing, and nursing as it relates to patient safety and quality. For questions regarding submission, please email John Iglehart at jiglehart@projecthope.org. (posted 11/15/06)
